This is Tammsvik :)

It's the biggest Sighthound show in Europe, held in Sweden. Two days showing and two days lure coursing. I was there first time last year, and really enjoyed my time, even tought I had a bad fever. It's fun to meet new people, watch dogs and so-on...

For Whippets there is on Saturday an unofficial (Open) show held by Swedish Whippet Club and on Sunday an official (Championship) show that is held by Swedish Sighthound Club's Eastern Branch.

I am certain she will be involved in something whilst she is somewhere where Phil isnt (OR is it that PMH is going? )

All I will be involved in is seeing whippets from other countries and meeting new friends (hopefully).

I Love dog showing and whippets more than nearly anything else :wub: So to combine the two in a country Ive ALWAYS wanted to go to seem too good to miss .

Im sorry if ive gone on about it so much but IM REALLY GETTING EXCITED NOW !!!!!.

Ive not been away on my own for years !!! :wacko: I will miss my dogs though :( oh and OH of course :- "
 
Jax: I'm also very excited, and I'm just goint to a country next to Finland. :) :p

You know how to recognize me, I'm a blond girl and I have a carrot-red brindle dog in open class (Taisto) and fawnbrindle puppy bitch (Meggie). We have a blue tent (hopefully near the rings) and you are very welcome to visit us. :)) :cheers:

You lucky girls..................I would love to come, only downside is that the alcohol is very expensive in Scandanavian countries. Best take a bit with you in a lemonade bottle girlies :))

Thanks for the link now I now what all the fuss is about and I'm really jealous of Jax & Rubywhip..... ;)

DOH!! :b I had only heard Aussies refer to it as Skokloster, so if I had seen that written I would have understood.

Hope that Jax & Rubywhip have a great time & of course any other K9ers who are attending.

I'll be waiting for results, PHOTOS.......LOTS OF PHOTOS and also to hear a about the shopping.

Girls, empty out those suitcases so you've got ROOM FOR THE SHOPPING

After all a really good shopping trip is probaly better than sex and you'll have something besides a smile to show for it afterwards!!!!!!!!

Hi!

The show used to be at Skokloster but in 2001 it moved - not very far - to Tammsvik. Both Skokloster and Tammsvik is just outside Stockholm. There are about 280 whippets entered on Saturday, so our English guests will have alot of whippets to rest their eyes on!!

Henrik Härling (who by the wat is happy as his little American bitch, Leyenda Miyabi Oh So Sexy won a CC yesterday!!)
 
Jax and Rubywhip

Have a really [SIZE=14pt]wicked[/SIZE] time at Tammsvik. If there is the slightest chance,and I say please, can you possibly take a pic of the BOB Borzoi, maybe in the BIS ring. I myself will visiting somewhere beginning with T next week-end, that's right [SIZE=14pt]TESCO's[/SIZE].

Take your camera and take all the photos your heart desires from ringside! It is not like in England - no permission required. A great item to pre-order is of course the video made of the Whippetclub show... there are also tapes with 2001, 2002 and 2003 available for immediate shopping if I'm not mistaken :p
