William At The Vets

Hi Helen,

Haven't been on for a while, and a shocking post to find!

Glad that nothing too serious has happened to wills.

Must be some dents in the car - the size of that boy - he's like a miniature horse Ha ha.

Can still see the big wuss dancing on the sand at great yarmouth, cos he didnt like the texture of the grains between his toes.

Give him a big cuddle from me. :huggles:

Hope you are ok willie! Thanks god its nothing to serious. Nothing a good rest wont cure.

Poppy and Minnie are thinking of you!!

There was no damage to the car fortunately William ran across the road at an angle rather than straght across so the driver had seen him and slamed his brakes on . I dread to think what would have happened if he hadn't Thisthread could have been totaly different

Oh Helen, I am so sorry to hear about william, I am glad the xray went o.k.

I am Shore I will be back to himself very soon and driving you mad.

Fleet sends lots of kisses to him :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

Poor William - its such a shock when something like that happens - bruising is bad enough but at least there are no breaks.

Great choice of name - my youngest son is called William - hes got no road sense either :- "

Just caught up with this thread...

I was happy when i got on to the 2nd page and read that he was ok. :huggles:

Its awful when these things happen, The fact that he ran straight into a car shows that he's not used to being out on his own, dont blame yourself.

William's been back to the vets today he has had some pain killers and iseating and drinking ok. It doesn't take much to put Wiliam of his food so thats a good sign.

He has to go back again on Tuesday and will hopefully see our own vet then . He does put the paw on the floor but not with any weight on it.

The vet also says he'll mend and the cuts shouldn't scar so he should be back in the ring as planned next year not that would have made any diference anyway .He loved it at the vets today as they were busy an everyone was oohing and ahing over him .He's just lapping up all the atention

William says thanks for all the best wishes and he'll do his best to milk the situation as best he can

William came to us called Willie which for obvious reasons quickly got changed to William .He is still known as Willie by his friends as you will notice by the replies some call him Willie or Wills
