We had a chap come to change the gas meter. When I opened the door to him I asked if he was OK with dogs.

"As long as they don't eat me" he replied

"It's OK, they've had their breakfast" and in he comes.

He duly admires Willie, whose pen in under the front window.

"He looks well fed!" :b

"Yes, he likes his grub" (does he see a lot of dogs that aren't well fed?? :- " )

"How old is he?"

"12 weeks"

And at the next comment I must have looked at him as those he had come down from Mars (bearing in mind there was 3 adult Whippets in the room at the time)

"What's he crossed with???" (w00t) :blink: (w00t)

Please, someone assure me, that he looks a bit like a Whippet

YES I"d definatly say hes got whippet in him :wub: all we ever get is ARE THEY ALL GREYHOUND PUPPIES. :lol: Then when they see Aggie who is a greyhound they think she"s the mum of them all. (w00t)

People have no idea what a baby Whippet looks like; they exoect them to be skinnier. When i had my first Whippet I had also male Borzoi, and i was asked, several times, if he is the the Whippet's mother! (w00t)
