Why a sixteen dog stake when you aren't dependant on hares getting up? In fact why have a stake at all? LC isn't real coursing & never will be. I've seen fifty/sixty dogs run under BSFA rules. Is it just an excuse for the usual "can't do that can't do this" snottiness?

Fair comment. We run a 16 dog stake just cos that's the way things were, and to be quite honest at this time of year as the nights draw in I don't think we could cater for many more.

I agree that lure coursing will never replace the real thing, but it keeps the dogs fit and is a bit of fun for the owners. Maybe you should pop along Terry and you'll see there is no snottiness involved. :thumbsup:
