A class for entire males only. Best Feet Ears Head & Testes in Show.

Congratulations to Holly Paul and Joan!  How far is that trip?

And Congrats Satiny!

 A big WELL DONE to Paul & Holly and Satiny & Timmy !

Am I right in thinking that Both Timmy & Holly Are now Polish Champions?

I thought I read that champions from aroad who won the CAC ( from open, working or champions class) would be able to use the polish champion title.

Paul & Joan are really pleased with their result. They went on one of those coach trips. I would guess it is about 4000km + round trip.

Well I got in my papers "Poland Winner"

On the website of the organisation they mention :

CACIB

A CACIB can be awarded to one dog and one bitch from the first placed dogs and bitches from the intermediate-, open- working- and champion class (from 15 months). The dog and the bitch which are awarded CACIB, receive automatically the title Best Dog/Bitch of Breed and CWC (CAC).

So, I will try tomorrow to get in touch with the Kennelclub from Poland, to obtain an official document of the Champion of Poland title . Keep you informed ...

However, thanks Claire for bringing this up

This is the bit I read Rita, At the bottom in red :-

TITLES ( taken From The Official Site But I have removed the meanings to all the titles)

CACIB...

Res. CACIB...

CWC/CAC ...

Junior World Winner – 2006...

Best Dog/Bitch of Breed ...

World Winner – 2006...

Best of Breed (BOB)..

ATTENTION!

Bitches and males from abroad with the Champion-title, which are awarded CWC/CAC in the intermediate-, open-, working- and champion class, receive automatically the title “Champion of Poland”.

Maybe I have miss read it or perhaps it has been lost in translation, But I would Definatley Ask If I were you . Good Luck :luck:

Is it best puppy in show or best puppy in the three groups shown on Friday -- terriers, sighthounds and scenthounds?
Best Puppy on Friday. I don't think they will select only 1 BIS-puppy? I think all three days have their own winners.

However, it is a great achievement!

Bart is back home in Belgium now and I asked him. He says he was also confused because after he won Best Puppy on Friday the judge said 'good luck on Sunday'. So he went back to the officials who run the show and asked if he was to come back on Sunday and they said in fact that each day is a show within a show, and on each of the four days there is a Best In Show Puppy and so he had the BIS Puppy (and the trophy and the written paperwork from the world show declaring Giselle is Best In Show) on Friday. Apparently there are four BIS puppies on that basis. Strange, but no less a good feat because Giselle beat all the puppies in the Sighthound, Scenthound and Terrier classes breeds.

Yes it is run by a company who specialise in trips for Show Dogs & their owners to go abroad. The accomodation for the dogs is said to be excellent cant remember the name of the company though
