I,ve came across the Yankee candles, they come in lots of fragrances, just wonder if anyone on here has brought one?As my Mum wanted scented candles for Christmas, but i wanted to get a nice long lasting smelling one.I have seen their website.

i went to a yankee candle party a couple of weeks ago. spent £57 as they were all so lovely. got the plate and shade as well, which would be lovely to go with a lovely smellig candle for your mum. im sure she wont be disapointed. one of the nicest onews i thought was gingerbreab, smelt just like gingerbread cooking in the oven,

Yankee Candles are the best scented candles you can buy. I have been lucky enough to actually visit the Yankee Candle factory in Massachusetts and I could not believe that there could be so many fragrances in candles. We only seem to get a very small selection of them over here. One of my favourites is Midsummer Night, I have even got that one as an air freshener in my car. Another great one is MacIntosh.

oooo i lurvve Yankee candles! Quite pricey but def good value for money as i think they are the best scented candles. Colonial are also good but i think Yankee has a better range

You can also buy them on QVC, may be alittle cheaper

I like Yankee Candles too - they last for ages and the smell doesn't fade with time. I love the fresh cotton one and midsummer night too

I think they sell them at our local garden centre, will have a look when I visit later this week.

oohhh yes i have some, they are best candles i have ever bought..........i have a cinnamon one which i just love...........i have had my coconut one burning all afternoon...............my eucalyptus one i light in my bedroom before bedtime........

and i have a chocolate one i light if im feeling crap :)

we have a shop in town that sells them...........i can never resist :b

Thanks everyone for your comments................a yankee candle it is then :D i know they are not cheap, but you dont mind paying more when you get a good scented candle that last :D

i love them, if you have a t k maxx near u have a look in there they sell them half price!! (w00t)

I received one as a pressie, smells of baby talc, lovely, apparently you have to let it burn a long time so that a complete layer of it melts across the top, rather than just a few minutes and end up with a hole in the middle.

Speaking of smells, if your mum likes chocolate she may like the bath crumble by LUSH called MA BAR...it's brown and cream with a brown sugar lump in the centre, nice in the bath but good to keep in your handbag and have a smell of when you're buckling to the call of chocolate, I think it works !

Better than any air freshener :) last ages.

They're fab and they do soooo many different fragrances.

My fave is the baby powder
