Black berry Gin ? tell me more please:rolleyes:
With the sloe gin I use a litre of gin, 500gm of sloes and 250gm of golden castor sugar, chuck it all in a large kilner jar and leave for at least a couple of months,(more if you can resist temptation!) I stir it lovingly:rolleyes:every day for the first couple of weeks, then stir it every few days after..oh and leave in a dark, cool place... I was thinking of trying same recipe with blackberries this year..last year I made a few different flavours, one that worked well too was raspberry and crab apple, yum!!:D

Campari is a fine drink, on the rocks, mixed with orange juice or simply pure.:p

@excuseme I was thinking if you like pernod and black, maybe you could experiment with a fennel and blackcurrent gin??

Hmmm....I quite like sound of that! Fennel tea is lovely...and black currant liquor is nice..and I can imagine those two flavours together...hmm...

I've never tried Campari. Is it a bitter taste or sweet?

It is both, bitter and sweet and yummy.
