Last night my 12½ year old Zig Zag had a stroke. It was so up setting he couldn’t stand so we rushed to the vets. The vet was so good and said that most dogs make a good recovery. Back at the vet today the vet was very happy and thinks he will make a fool recovery

I'm really glad that Zig Zag is making a good recovery. :luck:

I wonder if you could tell me a bit about what happened. My friends' 8 year old whippet had a stroke on Sunday, but as yet still has no use of her legs on her right side. (As of last night)

It would be very helpful if I could pass some information on to my friend as she is heartbroken, it is only 2 weeks ago that she lost her 14 year old, so she is having a really bad time. Thanks

So sorry, I can imagine the shock. :luck: :luck: to Zig Zag in making a full recovery :D

Hope Zig Zag makes a full recovery. :luck: Our Whippet Jake had a stroke at 13 and he made a full recovery. He went on to live until he was almost 17

Poor Zig Zag :( and poor you, it must have been very frightening. Hope he is feeling better soon :luck: :huggles: :luck:
