:D Well I unpacked a lovely pack of six 'box' canvases this morning all ready to start painting a series of vegetable and fruit 'still-life' paintings. I've just finished quite a long run of animal portraits and was looking forward to something different to get my brushes into  :- "

But oh no, not when you live with Zoomie ;) Along he came as I was hammering the stretchers into the corners of the back of the canvas (to make it nice and tight for painting on).... and he sits down, looks at me in a cute fashion and goes all 'pose' 'pose' 'pose' 'please paint me Mummy' (w00t)

 What's a girl to do when her Iggy demands to be painted???? :teehee:

THEN, when it's finished, he has the cheek to say he looks 'too young' 8)

I just tell him that I wanted to 'capture his youth and wrinkly forehead in a vibrant and contemporary style'

That shut him up and he spent the evening 'posing' in front of Milly-lab and crew being a 'painted person'.

I tell you, it's hard work living with a Superstar.... :p

Thanks for all the lovely comments :b

I did show it to Zoomie and he stared at it for a second then carried on killing his 'gindie' (stuffed guinea-pig toy  ) so he doesn't have any deep thoughts on art :- " :p

Zoomie has SKC Championship show on Saturday so I'm hoping he will stand still or I might just take the painting into the ring on a lead instead!!! (w00t)

Im still trying to get John to part with some money for a portrait of Robbie for my 40th this year, but he's not taking any of my hints in yet :(
