Thanks Anthony, the results are now on twice as Mr Horsnall senior had put results on the Evening Racing thread too. Maybe retirement for me may come sooner than I thought, now I know we have two 'would be' secretaries apart from me at the club I feel more days of slacking may happen (slacking indeed !!!) do you realise how long in front I have to request a day off before its granted at Shirebrook WRC lol :thumbsup: :teehee:

Forgot to thank the workers sorry folks, Dennis on traps, Chris on lure and judges too. Chris had already done a shift before we arrived making most of the dry weather to cut the track and we stayed dry, well almost just a few raindrops while we were trialling :wacko: Pub and then home :thumbsup:

Nice to see Sheila's veteran Cassie back to her winning ways, pups joining the handicap this week for the first time Gill's Mon Amor (Fat Boy Slim x Acca) and Joyces My Lucky Day (Smoking Gun x Come on Ella), both putting up a good show. There's plenty of pups trialling and having their first few clearance passes etc I'm sure over the next few weeks a few more will be joining the handicap.
 
hi what time do you start on a saturday as i would like to bring a mad 11 month old non ped up for a trial .. :)

Another good turnout for racing this morning plenty of trials before, in between and after racing. A few pedi's turning up and trialling. A couple of trials for the newcomer, nice blue , 11 month old 40lber (sorry don't know owners name or dog at the moment) but he had two nice trials and seemed to be going really well.

Plenty of pups joining handicap and Chris' Gemma wasnt going to be outdone by kennel mate Tia who won the A final on Wedsnesday, so she decided this mornings A final was gong to be hers, well done. Brians pup Come on Izzy once again getting in the A final too, Gill's Mon Amor taking the D final, nice to see the pups training and coming along very nicely :thumbsup:

a big thank you to shirebrook staff today for making us welcome and letting our blue pup deuce have couple of trials out of the traps even thought he would,nt fit in them .. at one point nice chatting to some of you hope to see you next week

A good morning for Kath & Dennis taking two of the finals, Joyces My John starting to come on nicely and Sheilas veteran Cassie, never giving less than 100% and once again taking the A Final.

There was no racing this morning, but had a nice relaxed couple of hours, trialling and generally lazing about in the sun. Mum and I did a few times of the trials, and got some very close times with only a couple of pips between them, ok and then we did some when one or both of us missed them completley, more practice needed from both of us, but lets face it we've not been doing this racing thing for long !!!!! (w00t)

We then had a meeting with the Staff re the Leger, of course liquid refreshments were compulsory at this one :cheers: so now a couple more things crossed off the to do list :)

PLEASE NOTE NO RACING NEXT SATURDAY (18th Aug) or WEDNESDAY (15th Aug), back to normal on Wednesday 22 August :thumbsup:

Ok better put some results on before i get the sack. Sorry folks been slacking a bit recently,think its being back at work, really think schools should have more holidays just get used to being off and we have to go back!
