Olive's Diary

25/03/18
woof, I am excited, because mum and dad are coming home. I have missed them so much and I also want snuggles :)
This morning the lady who is looking after me came down stairs and I had chewed up a Lilli, I got in really big trouble :(. I was shaking yesterday, because the smoke alarm rang really loud, also the lady keeps saying that I'm wiping my bum, but I think it relives the itch when I do pull my bum across the carpet . Could it be worms?
Well I need to go and tidy up the house of toys so when mum and dad get back then they don't tell me off, apparently mum and dad have something for me for being a good girl :p. Don't forget that the clocks went forward last night ... Well woooooffffffff!!!!!.....

:( I have been really naughty; I ate some plants and I have been to the vets a few times these past weeks mum is really angry with me and I feel bad as I really stressed her out :( Sorry mum. We are going camping on Tuesday so I won't be able to speak from then... Woof

Silly Olive!! But really, your mum shouldn't be angry with you. She left something within reach that you thought might be food, even if it was a strange flavour, and so it made perfect sense to eat it! Humans just don't appreciate just how many different sorts of food there are - after all, labradors think 'socks' is a whole food group!

@Judy N mum has said sorry and i got some chicken for tea... I am cuddled up with mum and she is rubbing my ears :) well the plants did taste nice...

Aww, that's good to hear Olive:) Just try to remember what a poorly tummy they gave you - I bet you'll forget though!

I will try and remember but I really like the smell and taste

I have the same problem with alcohol;)

Congratulations! It's VERY early days then, you can only have been pregnant for about three weeks! How are you feeling so far?

That must have been a very early scan? I'm sure you'll be fine - I felt very tired in the first few weeks so plan on sleeping a lot!

Wow - congratulations. You must have suspected at least a week ago too, when you said you had to avoid alcohol. How very lucky you were tuned into that, well done.

Well I felt unwell and I felt over tired so I did a test and then booked my self in for a scan. I surprised the OH as I said I needed him to come with me for my after op appointment he was really confused when I walked into the antinatal instead of after op :). It's still very early days and I know it could go wrong but all is for hoping... I'm worried about Doris being around a baby should I be worried?

Did you consult a behaviourist about her behaviour?

No need to worry. 7+ months for a baby to be born plus (idk, 10, 14, plus) months before your child is independently mobile gives you plenty time to prepare.
