After more years than I care to mention, on 16th August I will be getting my very first dog, a brindle whippet pup! I'm so excited but also slightly terrified. He'll be joining a menagerie consisting of 4 ponies, 6 cats, a chinchilla, a snake, a hairy biker and a daft bat. He'll grow up a resilient boy, I think! I've already learnt lots on this forum - so glad I found it.
