We made the decision to get another big dog ....after looking for hours we have reserved a 3/4 deerhound 1/4 english deerhound from dave platt lines ....after always having longdogs /lurchers our house doesnt feel like a home ....
We collect him next Saturday he will be 10,weeks old ....

I'm glad you told us that, I was thinking if that's him at 10 weeks, he'd grow up to be the size of a Shire!!

Deerhounds we have known have been called Murphy, Ozzie, Finn and Elba.

We have decided on Sykes as his name

We picked Sykes up this morning ...he whined for 20 mins and then slept the 3 hour journey home. ..he is beautiful. ..everything is new as he has lived outside

He has been amazing ....he is so laid back ...considering he has lived his life outside he has been so good and great with the Jack Russell's
