I have been threatening to do this for the last couple of weeks!

It's soooooooooooo hot here and my white longhaired GSD, Abbie, has itchy skin and has been suffering badly in recent days.

So this afternoon, I took the sheep shearers to her ...............................

Ok, ok, I know it's not the fanciest job in the world :b , but it's done the trick - she's much more comfortable now

Tomorrow it will be bath time for her

Oh Jane.....look at her hairy lugs

She's going to be so cool now.

:D you can almost hear her saying " ahhh thats sooo much cooler"

I think she looks really cute. She must be so relieved - cool and a trendy new hair cut. Result!!

She looks a lot cooler like that

Does the specsavers advert with the old man shearing the sheep spring to mind? :clown:

Sheep are MEANT to look like that though Jane...GSD's aren't...poor girl...she's going to have hoards of whippets laughing at her in a few weeks time
It could be worse ........ I nearly gave her a pom-pom on the end of her tail and a mohican hair-do

I keep meaning to do the same cut on Stanley but just can't bring myself to do it. :sweating:

as long as she's more comfy, it doesn't matter that she's a bit stripy (he!he!) wouldn't like to wear a fur coat myself in this recent weather !

Should have done before and after pics !!
