and it is that we collected our new little baby today and he's now home with us. It is all a bit of a surprise as we had booked a Citycroft boy from Ruby's impending litter but I got a phone call from Jo and, to cut a long story short, we have a gorgeous little pale fawn, white trim, blue mask, lad. Thank you to Jo and Rachel for their introductions and for collecting him for us and a big thank you to Anita, Yialousa Whippets for letting us have Milo (Yialousa River of Dreams). He's out of her bitch Pearl and he is just the most laid back, endearing boy you could ever wish to meet. I would love to put up some pics but the dreaded photobucket wont let us - i'll ask Rachel very nicely if she would post some for me.

After we lost Pip last November, I didn't think we would have another dog but Gracie really misses her play mate and Tilly only wants to hunt so I am hoping that she and Milo will become great friends. He has had a sniff and play in the garden, met Molly the cat, stolen Gracie's frisbee and is now curled up on the sofa out for the count....... AND, I've got the puppy smell back in my house. :teehee:

Come on then.....we need pictures of them together :))

So pleased he's settled in quickly. I've loved having him here for a few days; he's a beautiful boy, so sweet and affectionate and totally bomb proof. I've had the pleasure of watching him grow, visited him as a baby and can honestly say he was my favourite from the start, out of a wonderful litter.

I know Gracie will love having a little brother to snuggle and play with.

When we knew Ginola (Milo) was looking for a lovely forever home, we contacted Angela as knew how much she wanted a fawn dog. In Rubys last litter she only had two boys, one of which was fawn. Jo and I would have felt awful if Ruby couldn't give Angela the boy she wanted so helped put her in touch with our very good friend Anita to give this wonderful boy a home.

I'll put some of the photos up I took of him shortly.

Fantastic

He sounds a bit like Toddy in colouring (hopefully, he will not turn out quite so wild :teehee: )

I am so pleased for you and wish you and your whippet family many years of happiness with little Milo :luck: :luck: :luck:
