Pecker, Rystone The Falcon Rip

Pecker was put to sleep this morning to save further suffering. He had a neck and shoulder problem that the pain relief from the vet didn't touch. He had been in pain for a week and last night he couldn't get comfortable and was up and wandering about whimpering.

I whelped him on 12 th december 1996, and stayed with him today at the end. He was by Ch Walkabout Woodpecker of Rivedo out of my Rystone Black Swan.

Poor old man, he is now pain free, run free Peck X

Was just going to say the same thing- he was often in the ring with my Alfie (Perfect Pluto) and they were quite alike, having similar facial markings. He was a lovely handsome boy :huggles:

I will give Alfie an extra hug tonight- this really brings it home to me that he is getting old now :(
