Have you tried getting a water filter jug? My water looks like milk sometimes when it comes out of the tap, so I always filter it. They are quite inexpensive and you don't have to change the filters as often as the manufacturers make out...( IMO:))
I can't add anything to the above advice. But that is a truly awful thing to happen, when your boy, quite rightly asked if he could pet the dog, the lady had a perfect opportunity to explain that he was a service dog and not for petting, in a calm and educating way. Young people especially (and...
Thanks all.:)
There's nothing bad about advertising as such, I drive around with my sign on my van. I just feel I don't really want to go all out advertising to find new clients, if I'm being honest with myself... working one to one with dogs with 'issues' is a massive privilege to me and I do...
I was about to start this post earlier this morning, when I suddenly heard gushing water, I thought that doesn't sound normal for my washing machine, ran out to the kitchen to find water cascading out of my cupboard!! Kind of sums up the last few months I've had really...
My van has been in and...
I am also so sorry for your loss... your post brought tears to my eyes, it is the hardest thing. Please be kind to yourself and give yourself time, you were with him at the end and that would of been comforting for him. The picture of him is lovely and I promise over time when you remember him...
Did your vet rule out acid reflux, presumably? Frenchies are prone to this, as are other brachycephalic breeds... as @Tinytom suggested, maybe try white fish(not oily fish) and boiled potatoes( you could probably add steamed veg slowly if the fish and pots goes down). This would be gentle and...
Yep, I agree too. My ferrets were both on milk thistle for a while to support their livers, prescribed by the vet. So I'd definitely ask your vet about this.
If you do plan to seek legal advice, presumably you've kept the messages you spoke of above?
The whole situation is very worrying, this particularly. She is basically admitting that she is not paying attention on a regular basis to keep the dogs in her care safe. I don't understand how that can...
This is just awful and heart breaking for your little dog and you! I'm literally just about to head out but IF she has insurance to walk dogs it absolutely should cover her for accidents. I'll check the wording on mine when I'm home, but pretty sure even basic cover would have this.
What an...
I was taking a video of him this morning to send to daughter and I got a really lovely one of him being all cute in the sun on her bed, unfortunately I'd forgotten to press record!!! My second attempt wasn't much better, I'd pressed record, check, had him in focus standing in front of...
He is a rather wonderful boy! My daughter's gone off to uni now too, so I was worried if he'd be missing her. Even though I've always done everything for all my lot, he was really bonded with her. But he seems to be coping ok, I think it's helped that over the last year she's not been around...
