Sadly for us racers Helen, there is reasonable doubt. Luckily, we have an alternative organisation to race with, and clubs that will not affilliate to run with. There is a choice for those of us who see what is before our eyes.
Bertha and Hannah,
We all know it is impossible to prove parentage of this litter as the sire is allegedly dead. This is the route of the problem and now it will never be proved one way or another. There is no evidence that is without doubt, the WCRA have made a JUDGEMENT it is not and will...
Thanks for putting that on here June, shame (as I keep repeating) that the WCRA refuse to use the medium of internet and their own web-space to keep us informed.
The chairman is obviously a highly intelligent individual, supercilious too :- Shame he felt it necessary to take every opportunity...
Perhaps some-one could post those question answers on here so we can all see them? :D
Edit to say it is a good thread. Rule 6 exists, we sha;ll have to assume it will be enforced in the abscence of any contrary notification.
I would like the WCRA to give an answer to this question.
Do you intend to enforce your mandatory rules in 2010?
When clubs have this information they will be able to vote on affililiation with the necassary informatiuon at hand. I would personally have liked all information to be available on...
Juney in PJs LOL, take a piccy Julie and text it me, I need laugh at the mo. Seriously good luck. If my life wasn't so hellish at the mo and we had a safe builder free garden I would be seriously tempted. June I expect regular updates on the birth .............. between the hours of 9 am and 10...
Good luck to every-one running whippets tomorrow. I have an appointment with a pile of paperwork! :( but will be thinking about all my friends and keeping it all crossed for a happy injury-free day.
What a shame the WCRA don't inform us of these decisions on their website. We only have your word for this Garry. Information is sadly lacking on the WC site. I was thrilled when it statted to go on, and bitterly disappointed when it was removed and went "secret squirrel" again.
I hope the WR...
The whole point of a charity open is to raise as much money as possible for the charity. Did no-one think of the two issues that will severely impact on this aim.
1. At least 50 % of racers will not run at an event where "that litter" are racing or their breeders are on the field
2. Hosting it...
I have also been giving consideration to the Whippet Rescue open and feel very torn morally about what to do. If I remember correctly, last year the Shearings organised the event with great success and "those dogs" were refused entry. As usual, the support was fabulous and and the charity made a...
Well done all, glad you had a great day, was thinking about you whilst i was catching up with work -_- You were blessed with fabulous weather again 8) Special congrats to "Sweet" he is, isn't he!
Such a sad day Jane, what a great age though and I am sure he enjoyed watching all the action from the front of your van in later years despite not being able to join in. God Bless Sam X
Should we continue racing in the current hostile atmosphere created by a tiny minority, I would have no intention of altering my orange coats to yellow. Very few clubs are racing to WCRA rules in the present climate so I won't lose sleep. Lou, perhaps borrow a yellow coat if you get in a 5 dog...
