Gloucester PWRC Results 16th November
There was a good turnout at the club today despite the unfavourable weather conditions. As we arrived, the rain started, and it didn’t really let up at all, it can only be described as mizzle. We ran our usual handicap of 150 yards at ½ yard per lb and...
Poor Parker, you will know if his life is more pain than gain. Wishing you luck with him, I often think about his sweet little face, he is such a sweetie
Carmel, that is beautiful. I nearly missed this thread, but will be sure to show it to Lloyd later. The artist has captured Taffy's personality so well, it's the eyes, you can nearly see what he is thinking. Thanks for posting this

I would just like to thank Helen (Dolly) for making a very good point during a discussion we had. It is a point from an experienced judge and whippet expert, worth passing on.
I have a show-bred dog who is the slowest whippet in the world almost at racing. Helen has pointed out that we have no...
:huggles: Lovely bitch Sarah, I am really partial to blue/white parti colours. I don't know much about breeding, but I have attempted to lure course my nippy little racer. It was disastrous as he was too fast. On sharp turns he just overshot the bends, did forward rolls, lost the lure and so...
You were busy today!
Well done to all of you 'specially them Peppermints.
I haven't forgotten the pound I owe you Julie ;) and today has just reminded

That person would need to be an acredited judge within the show world, does such a person exist who has a dual interest? This is where the problem lies, whippet owners generally decide to race or show as an interest, some show breds dabble in lure coursing and do well, but very few show breds do...
It must be extremely exciting to be expect puppies from your beloved dog. Good luck and I bet you are nearly bursting with excitement
Can wait to see the photos
