Thankyou. Hubby is going home at lunch to let him out and see how he is. I will tell him not to give him lunch. Then he can have chicken and rice for tea. I've got some pictures of him from the weekend in the new forest. I'll try and get them up here soon!

We came back from the new forest on monday (regular stops for water and car windows open all the time whilst travelling) and Austin had some diahorrea on monday evening. Before we went away we started a new bag of food which is lamb flavour and he doesn't really like it. So when we came back...

Please bear with me I am new to all this, our family dogs were all fed on tinned and biscuits or complete!! When I give Austin the chicken wings, I take it he is meant to eat the bones, as long as he crunches them?

Sorry I can't offer any advice, but I hope they sort themselves out soon.

Great, I can pick some chicken wings up from the butcher at the same time then!! Do you freeze them too? And I suppose I should get something for us humans from the butcher!! :lol:

Where do you get your chicken wings from? And I've arrange to pick up some marrow bones and knuckle bones from a local butcher this afternoon. Do you freeze your bones before feeding, to kill any nasties?

What is the breed height for a male whippet? And what weight would you expect for a male whippet at 21inches high? (in kgs please!)

Thankyou for the info. I didn't realise you could go and watch the deer being fed. We are staying near milford on sea, but have a car so can drive to places for walks. I'll try and check out the information centre, and yes please :crossfingers: it gets a bit dryer!

We're coming down to the new forest for a few days in a couple of weeks so can you reccomend places for the best dog walks and also some dog friendly pubs (in case it rains and we want to go inside for a bit! :lol: )

Thankyou all for your advice. My mum wasn't too bothered about it and says this is the first time he has done it (the other times she put it down to him being a young puppy). So we are going to let him keep his bits for the time being but keep the option in the back of our minds and see how is...

So as long as we let him know that weeing on her bed isn't acceptable, he should grow out of it? Thankyou for your help!
