    Yearlings.

Saxon Tiger took Supreme yearling at the NWRF. In Devon same year she ran against R.Ch. Drama Quuen, who was off 18lbs and Saxon Tiger 30lbs and what a race she put up and beat Drama Queen comfortably. Don't think she could do that now as Drama Queen is much faster and with injury problems...

    Yearlings.

Why don't we adopt the same format as the Greyhounds. i.e. up to 2 yrs they are classified as puppies. 2 - 4 yrs adults and over 4yrs they are veterans. Something different and worth a try - could make interesting racing!!!! :)

    Run as weighed

Denise, my apologies I thought I saw you in the queue behind us, my mistake. Still doesn't answer my question as to why one dog weighed 19.1/4lbs on our scales and got l9lbs when ours weighed 31.1/4 and had to go off 32lbs???? :p This is why I wondered if the smaller dogs had the advantage...

    Handicap for Supreme Run Off

John, last year there were a lot of proposals put forward but when they got the the "committee and reps" for reasons unknown they were thrown out and they WERE workable (I saw the full list). Also, regarding breeding smaller dogs, we tried that by using Mad Return (20lbs) to our bitch Saxon...

    Run as weighed

Gary, you weighed in AFTER we did. If that was the case why was ALL the dogs that weighed in previously to you called back and re-weighed. In future I shall query the weights if they differ from our scales. I'm not saying Saxon Tiger would have won in the lower weight group, but at least...

    Run as weighed

John, I agree with 1/4lb should stay, as scales can vary. e.g. we were at the Derby a person came to us and asked to weigh his dog on our scales (not digital) his dog weighed l9.1/4lbs so he raced off l9lbs as he weighed the same on the digitial scales. Saxon Tiger weighed 31.1/4lbs on our...

Jeff. proposals have gone into the BWRA by members to have half yd/lbs and/or 2ft per lb racing but for reasons unknown the committee and reps. have thrown them out and these have never gone out to be voted on. Also has anyone given thought to all the members that go open racing week in and...

    Whippets or Greyhouds

Firstly, I would like to add I do have scratch dogs, i.e. 36lb. 40lbs & No Limit. The sires being 26lbs and 20lbs. I think you are missing the point I am NOT AGAINST the No Limits all I am saying is I do NOT agree with the sires being full greyhounds. Most whippets have greyhound bloodlines -...

    Whippets or Greyhouds

How does one define a whippet. It has always been accepted that a small sprint greyhound bitch mating to a whippet. However, now the latest "fashion" is putting a half bred greyhound bitch to a FULL GREYHOUND. Surely, this is not the way forward. These off-springs are more like...

    NWRF black power g jacket

Well done Jade the photos were great (is your dad now redundant?) Neil, as regards the No Limits just think how can a No Limit (whippet) compete with the No Limits that are bred out of a FULL greyhound. No Chance so why waste money. Are we Greyhound racing or Whippet racing? ...
