I think you are on about the "Tumbler" having husky in it`s make-up but I don`t know to much about the type so cannot really comment further other than to say it is a cross that I personally would steer well clear of and cannot see the point of the cross in the first placve as there are other...
From what I have read about huskies and allied breeds they are serious stock worriers in general and very hard to obedience train hardly what you would want in a working lurcher I feel
I`d like to thank all at the meeting for the hospitality shown to me and it was great of you to let my " little " girl have a trial , we both thoroughly enjoyed it!
Hope to see you soon ,
Paul
Sorry haven`t been on for a while it seems Honey has had a "false heat" she only showed colour for 3or 4 days and then the swelling started going down and she seems back to normal now so we will have to see what happens :b
There s a lot more lurchers than just Hancocks end up in re-homing centres that is down to the type of people who are attracted to the type of dog for the wrong type of reasons as an image maker for a start " yes I`m a poacher don`t you know" as for the conditions he keeps his dogs in they can`t...

The pup photographed in this topic is a Hancock bred dog, it is the third I have had off him and I haven`t had a problem with any of them, as for Hancock not taking back pups how many other lurcher breeders will take pups back?? not...
Honey qualified to run the six bend trip on tuesday first trial over the distance but she is trapping awful she did a 39.75 but if she traps a little better I can see her making a fair improvement on that time IMO, she is down as reserve for a six bend handicap 2morrow but don`t know yet if she...
Couldn`t agree more in time the surviving hares will become weaker and slower due to the unnatural way of culling them it is not coincidence that the strongest fittest hares are found in areas famous for their coursing potential i.e the fens ,six mile bottom and altcar to name a few.

She came second tonight (w00t) ran a good race once again not the best trap but made up for it from the first bend onwards tried to go past at the third but just couldn`t get by ,1 3/4 lengths behind at finish first to the pick up.
