Congratulations to all the Whippets who did so well on the weekend - what a great effort. We were busy looking after the Afghan Club of the ACT specialty shows so we couldn't make it out.
But looking forward to the Spring Fair this weekend where there are entries of 51 & 53 Whippets.
But in regards Beenleigh Reserve Challenge - we had Patrice Johansen and Isilwane Semaphore (Lena) flying the flag for us and it was she who took that Reserve. Great to see them out and about.
And a certain very wicked Whippet spent another weekend lure coursing and gained her SENIOR COURSER title (w00t) To get this she had to run in Open Stake against competition four times. She did this but also at all four stakes finished in the top 10 Whippets on the field including fourth on Saturday. Not bad for a nearly five year old girl who's had two litters of pups. The Shamasan Crew had a great weekend - on Saturday BOB was a son of Phoebe's old boy and Shamasan kids came 2nd & 3rd with Electra 4th. Then on Sunday a Shamasan boy owned by Lorie Crain who has taken Electra to all the trials went BOB and he hasn't finished his senior courser yet, Veronica (Ch Shamasan The Blue Dahlia) was 3rd & Electra 7th.
Next week she's back in the show ring and I believe Neville Newton is judging in Pennsylvania.
