Ah ... nup! I cried, again! :b And I am absolutely LOVING it! Thanks everyone.

Does one EVER get used to it, I wonder? I think about this a lot as I look at advertisements for dogs that have 40+ BIS's and I've seen some owners/handlers who are "used to it" - I don't want to be like that. I want to be out of my mind with joy every time.

I reckon the day that I expect it and there's no feeling of surprise and absolute euphoria then that's the day I should give the game away.

OMG Aime (Ch Aslan Chanson D'Amour) has done it again. Her 3rd BEST IN SHOW yesterday under Mr Cleland from SA. She seems to like the SA judges - all 3 BIS have under judges from there!

After 17 years of showing, I still get nervous before every show :b - tummy turns inside out - husband ducks for cover as the whirlwind to get out of the door in one piece on time is not a path you should be standing in :wacko: To get the breed, groups & In-shows are still as exciting as ever. I have had my fair share of wins - my friends stand outside the ring & torment me as they see my hands shaking holding the lead :wub: It's a wonder the dogs do so well with all that nervous energy shaking down the lead.

I'm with you Lana - if it get's to the point that "it's just another win" it's time to find another challenge

Awesome news about the new champion :cheers: What is Geoff like :clown: In NZ we need 8cc's - so I guess that's easier to keep a track of instead of your 100 points - having said that - I know EXACTLY who has how many - bit anal like that :blink: Infact, I keep a little book of who got what CC under what judge at what show... tis a curse being a virgo :wacko:
