Finally a break from shows! I am looking forward to several weekends at home. Last weekend Harriet collected two more BOB's and another Puppy of Group. At 7 months she has been to 8 shows as a puppy - our puppy class is 6-12 months - for six CC's, one reserve CC, five BOB's, and four Puppy of Group awards.

Apart from the winning she is the sweetest whippet imaginable, just like her dear mum, Sassafras. Her sister Scuba is rather different - I had feared showing her as she is such a contrary mary - you know the type who has perfected the bullet kiss to the point where she can now land one on my forehead from right in front of me, and I am 5ft 7.5 inches tall...took her to one show and she got Puppy of Group...even managed to behave.

I love showing puppies, as that Gump fellow said, you never know what you're going to get!!

Cheers to all,

Jackie Howell

Well done on your recent wins Jackie

You have placed yourself well in respect to location & getting in a bunch of shows - I am getting the shakes from withdrawal & not doing shows - haven't done any since early April :(

And those puppies are looking so nice too Lynda - you must be itching to get them out there!

Well done Jackie, that's a lovely string of wins.

CONGRATULATIONS ON ALL OF YOUR WINS

Hey Lana

Yup - totally itching to get out to a show - we actually have one this weekend but the babies are 1 week to young (have to be 4mths old here) and the only show dog we have is Molly (Aust/NZ Ch Davina Ineffable India - Imp Aust) and my daughter Kate (8yrs) has claimed her & won't let me have a go

I'm just the taxi service  Oh well, at least it's a great opportunity to socialise the babies - have to be careful as Miss Kate is already trying to get her hands on BOTH of the puppies :(

I'm not ready to pass over the reigns yet - it amazes me at how quick flossy is to say who she's going to show & who I can show - hmmm... see some foot putting down techniques will have to come out & show there style :D

Have a great weekend & best of luck to all K9ers

Look's like you have your hands full Lynda, wish you well with your babies, might have to wait until school camp to get a turn (w00t) (w00t)

Well it was Fergus's ( Parnew Irish Pride ) turn to have a win this week, he beat Maggi for baby of breed and then went on to get Baby In Group  with his Mum {Jacki} winning State Bred In Group with Lilly winning B.O.B ( now 11 points of her Ch ). This is the third baby from our lovely Barney litter to win a baby in group. I hope that there is many more wins to follow. Hope you all had a good weekend :D

Back from the only show we have this month :(

We ended up with RCC wtih Molly & young Kate ended up qualifying for the Young Kennel Club finals to be held at our National dog show in September - proud mother

The babies took the inside show as a socialising play thing all in their stride - bless em, not fazed at all by some seriously grumpy malamutes parked 2 cages down - here is a wee piccy of Jordi - Shenace Public Affair - taken today, aged 3mths & 3 wks.... he is his mummy's boy o:)

Well done Molly and Kate  :D

Jordi looks great Lynda , nice pic o:)

BTW Heidi is in Pup and growing every day, I think another big litter could be on the way.

Cheers Griff

Excellent - feed that girl lots of pink salmon - put her to bed on a pink mattress & fill her room with pink balloons :p Girls rock
