Satang French Folly's owner asked me if Jimmy's 2x BIS under 7 months gave him the record for the youngest BIS winning Whippet in Oz.

Yes, I agree the shows are small in the NT. However, a BIS is a BIS in anyone's language.

Jimmy's sire is Christian and Paris is his dam. We congratulate the Barters

Jimmy's breeder and Lesley and Rob his owners.

I agree - when it comes down to tin-tacks you've only got to beat 6 other dogs in the BIS line-up.

Congrats to the NT young 'un

Thanks guys! :huggles:

Also a bit of sketchy information ... got a brief text from Colin D'Souza and his daughter Jaymee in Western Australia who now have Aslan Knight Ryder. He got 1st out of 3 in his first his first show over there last weekend. Unfortunately got beaten by the bitch for baby of breed.

Also unfortunately I don't know who any of the other puppies were. :( Have to phone young Jaymee tonight and see if she can tell me. Hopefully she has a catalogue.

His next show is the Perth Royal and he will be out of baby puppy. Fingers crossed he does well.

This was Dad's second weekend away in a row judging and I'm beginning to like it!!

Last week he was at Broken Hill in NSW, so Mum and I went to the Melbourne Showgrounds without him and managed to pick up a Minor in Group with Tia (Peperone Bitter Tears) and a Puppy in Group with Chucky (Peperone Elegantlywasted)

Then this weekend while he was in Tassie, we went to our other venue at KCC Park and Cooper (Peperone New Sensation) received the Res CC from the Minor Puppy Dog class and Chucky received another Puppy in Group with Mrs Angus in charge!!

Both of the boys have now won a Puppy in Group and a reserve cc at metropolitan shows in Melbourne within the last month and they are only just 7 months of age, so I'm pretty happy with them and as for Dad ... well he can keep on judging!!!! :D

Congrats to all the other winners of late!! Good to see whippets doing well everywhere!

Thanks Griff - but all credit to Steve Warry who showed the team today as I was at the football watching the Eagles beat Essendon (we only go when invited into a corporate box - lol !!!)

This is Sian's 2nd Group win with Steve - and nice to go one step further and to win under a specialist.

Cheers

Pam

Congrats to Bruce on a top day for Daffodill and Freckles. Was a pretty disappointing entry for a Royal- perhaps the price of petrol is starting to hit.

Congratulations on Daffodill & Freckles wins  We have just had 2 drops in petrol prices here in NZ - went all the way up to $2.12 per litre & is now down at $2.01 - strange how we now see that as being so "cheap" Must admit, not only has the cold & wild weather here kept us at home, but the price of petrol for a long journey along with accommodation costs, does make you stop & think :(
