Yep Tressy was the hair growing doll, but if you did it too much it broke and she was stuck with the long pony tail thing which went all nasty from overbrushing . :b

The eye colour change doll was called Blythe, my Sister had one. I bet she wishes she still had her, they go for around £700 now the vintage ones, but apparently they are making modern ones now as well.

Im trying to remember the childhood dolls we had, I was more into horses LOL. I can remember Pippa dolls, My sister's chatty cathy doll used to scare me :b ohh and tippy tumbles. My little sister had those Talk up dolls, the ones that you pulled their head and they said random phrases. I had an Amanda Jane because she had a riding outfit

I remember my mother buying us girls some porcelain faced collector dolls, which we used to shut in the wardrobe as we were all terrified of them!

My most favourite childhood toy was my Jacko Monkey, every child of the 70's must of had one. Plastic face, hands and feet and soft body, wearing a stripey jumper.

PS3, nintendo DS pah! those were the days

Action Man Rules  The original..not the rest with the added eyes and hair and gripping hands.

My best was Katie Copy Cat. She was a big doll that came with a small desk. You put a pen in her hand which attached to plastic contraption which had another pen on the other side of the desk, when you wrote, she wrote the same thing, utterly pointless really but I loved her.

I adored my Amanda Jane doll ... I used to make all her clothes ... you can still buy Amanda Janes if anyone wants to relive their youth lol.

We also had little poseable baby dolls no more than 6 inches tall ... anyone know what they were?
