Meg does look well :luck:

She's built like her dad (Jack the Lad)

What does she weigh now Glynis?
Weighed Meg this morning little fatty, weighing 28lb. She seems to be stocky, but still has knuckle so will grow a bit taller. May end up being her dads weight ah Geoff.

19th May 2010

A lot of dogs wrapped in cotton wool ready for the champs now so entries lower than usual, mostly trials last night.

First off Beside the Point, Boybelle & Totty Maud all clocking good times. Floless (just out of season) ran with Mebs Rosie & Mr Dillon trapping well and winning comfortably, Rapskallion enjoyed his first run back for a few weeks, Dan & Michelles lurcher Rufus had his first run at Gin Pit and loved it (he got his money worth and decided to have another go by himself later on lol), Boody a ghd x collie ghd had a good trial, first time out of the traps and flew up, Tony's veteran King Bear had his first run back after a short break and looked good, Whiskey Fudge and Arnold ran together with Fudge just hanging on at the line from Arnold who finished well, Avit had a trial and looked very good and full of himself afterwards, Hagler did a couple of good times and ran against Mad Max who made him run in his first race, Dan & Michelles Saluki Red had his first go and loved it, took to it staight away. Andy's Joe (More or Less pup) had his first full distance slipped through the trap and looked promising, getting more confident with every run, coming on a treat! Two terriers had a couple of runs up together - hilarious to watch as always, Tilly the lurcher had a couple of handslips and went well, Mo Carlin had a solo and looked good (for her anyway lol), lovely black pedigree Mack saw the lure for the first time and looked like he'd done it a hundred times before, he'll take no training at all and will be good for racing in no time. Tony's Red Moon Rising had a run against Whiskey Fudge to win by a length and half in a good time just right out of season now too, lastly Anagram been injured since running in Scotland and looks to have now hit form at the right time doing the fastest time of the night, very impressive and looking in brilliant condition, all credit to Keith.

Track looking brilliant and still hasn't been rolled yet, we'll be needing to get the water on it soon though if this lovely weather continues as it's forcasted to.

Trials on Saturday at 1pm if anyone wants to come.

Best of Luck to all the club dogs for the NNWRF Straight Champs :))

2nd June 2010

Not many racers this week but still a good turnout, loads of new faces and pups schooling, all doing everything right.

John and Fiona's pup Jack is looking really good, dead keen on the lure and flying, he'll be ready to run in company soon. Hellbound & Moonpie litter all going well, as did Jo, Mack & Holli's lovely black & white pup.

Boody, Whisper, Hagler, Totty Maud, Jenny Taylor, Whiskey Fudge, I'll be Back & Mo Carlin all had runs, Hunkie had a handslip and thankfully came off sound :sweating:

Track looking good but needs some rain now leading up to our open (know what happened the last time i started panicking about watering the track leading up to the open, it p***ed it down for 4 weeks over June & July and we ended up bucketing water OFF the track lol)

Pic's to follow

Got to say the track is as good as any we've ran on this year !

can anyone tell me if there is camping at july weekend please and also trap sizes thanks
