Last week we went a walk over some local hills it was a really lovely walk and a nice night. I tried to get some pictures of Penny with the scnery in the background.

Wow amazing pictures! what wonderful scenary...always enhanced off course byt the beautiful Penny   I love the last one

I love that photo as well. Whippets always seem to understand the joke and play to an audience which makes it very hard to be cross with them. I just end up reaching for the camera!

Lovely scenery and Penny is beautiful. Love her sticky up ears - just like our old Josh had!

What stunning scenery and gorgeous whippet

Penny looks just like our late Jesse  :(

You can't beat a walk in the hills, especially with a lovely whippet for company. She looks a real character in those photos. Nice scenery... :)

beautiful scenery there

pennys looking gorgeous as ever

Thanks for the lovely comments, it was a lovely walk, can't believe i've never walked there before. Penny is just the noisiest little character, in almost all of these pictures she is having a nose at something

Thanks :) Its up by Castle Campbell in Dollar, there is a path you can follow over the hills that will eventually lead you to Glen Devon (I think) we walked as far as the reservoir it was about 8-9 miles in total. Its a lovely walk but for most of the way dogs need to be kept on leads as there is a sign up. The pictures of Penny were taken nearer the reservoir where its ok to let them off as the pathway is fenced off.

Ah ... I've done the hike up through Dollar Glen to Castle Campbell before - it's very steep  That walk looks lovely though, I'll maybe try it when Alfie is a bit older and can manage longer walks.
