Hi all

Our lovely Chihuahua,Alfie(aka lure bait ) Has had his eye scratched by Chilli our cat.

Chilli is normally fine with our lot however she has a favourite called Leo, our 14 year old Bichion.

Leo was telling Alfie off and Chilli thought he was getting attacked and lashed out at poor Alfie.She has since tried to apologise,Alfie having none of it :- "

Vet checked his eye over and gave him pain relief,antibiotic/eye drops. Eye doesnt seem to be healing quick enough so he may have to have an op on Thursday

We praying that on Thursday vet says eye healing well enough on own.

Im sooooooo worried as i cannot bear the thought of him having an op under a general but if needs be, he will

Please pray he is ok and his eye will heal.

In mean time he seems fine in himself and is getting spoiled rotten. :huggles:

So sorry to hear this, sadly due to the shape of their faces, chihuahuas are quite prone to eye injuries but I hope Alfie heals really quickly :luck: :huggles:
