Hi. went out this morning about 12-45 with jill, i havent got a lamp, i use my mates when were out together, so i just use a high powered torch, so i drives down to my permission land, not to far away, lets jill out the car and off we go, she loves it, so do i, next thing she's givin tongue, i dont like that in my dogs,, but only does it when she's after quarry other than bunnies, so i was on my guard, next min i heard her yelp, was aful, i found her sparked out, sh'ed hit a fence, i cannot begin to tell you what that sight did to me, i screamed out like a lunatic, picked her up, and believe u me the asdrenalin pumped through my body like the clappers, carried her to the car and she began to come round, im not a religiouse man, but thank the lord, by the time i got her home she was ok, but on checking her out, she'd lost half of a front tooth, and gums swollen, had her to the vets, he's treated her, i have to ring him up if the swelling hasnt subsided by this time tomoz, u see the thing is with jill, soon as it becomes dark, she wants out.I will finish by saying this, she's the bestest thing thats ever entered my life for as long as i can ever remember, if wewas confronted by an oncoming scammel doin 100 mph with no escape, id let the fecker take us both out, cos i cudnt live without her, and i do believe she couldnt live without me

                  ta for reading my whinge

Can't bear the thought of Jill hurt - I feel for you Keith - Best Wishes (and prayers - cos I am religious!) for both of you  :huggles:
Never meant anyone any offence with the religious remark, but he's never done nowt for me, bout Jill, slept on settee with her last night, bestest damn neets kip ive had in yonks, had to bathe her chops this morning cos her lips where stuck to her gums, dried blood, apart from that she's ok, like someone said, running dogs get running injuries

Keith.

I'm so glad to hear Jill will not suffer any long lasting damage & is on the mend.

Those fences are such a worry.. .. ..

When I'm out with mine on the lamp, I'm constantly worried about "WHAT COULD HAPPEN".

-but- I know If i don't go out, the dogs start to cus and sulk at me. (just can't win)

Please pass on a big hug and stroke of the belly from me. :D

:) Relieved your both feeling a bit better today  Is Jill managing to eat ok if her mouth is sore?

:) Glad you both slept well, hope Jill's mouth isn't too sore.
