Back To The Vets Today

Gosh that looks really nasty, strange its in more or less the same place on both sides??

Almost like she may have stuck her nose into a tight area & its scraped both sides?

Hope you find out what it is, poor little mite :luck:

Definatly worth getting her looked at by a vet rather than try and guess what it might be and be wronge.

plus better to have it looked at now than need an emergancy vet over Xmas (and the prioces that go with it)

just a thought has this happened since you put your decorations up? have you anything real tree/reath that might be causing it?.

I would have thought that too Nina but they are more like bubbles if you know what I mean rather than scrapes

Poor Callie, that looks really nasty and sore, hope the vet can sort it out for you.

That's exactly the same as Murph's,poor Callie :(

I don't suppose you'll ever discover what has caused it either!

Poor Callie that does look sore :( Lots of :huggles: Hope the vet comes up with some answers.

Poor Callie - they look really sore. Hope she's sorted out soon.

(Have you any euphorbia in your garden? I know the sap from broken stems can give some people terrible blisters. Just a thought)

:luck: :luck:

Ok We've been and what he says is that when she banged her snout the other day there must have been a small puncture and infection has got in because when he sqeezed a little it was filled with puss :x he said its not uncommon for an infection to rear like that and that the bacteria has built up underneath then just come up so to speak anyway she is now on a course of antibiotics to clear it up and he had given her some cream to sooth it and make sure it doesn't get any more infected and she should be fine in a few days

thanks for all your well wishes i will pass them on :huggles:

Hope that the AB's kick in soon.

Rue is another garden plant with really nasty sap if you break it. I've seen some really nasty burns on someones wrist from it.

Euphorbia sap is supposed to get rid of warts.

awwwww poor little mite

get well soon callie ,, :luck: :luck: :luck:

Even if I had sally I wouldn't know it  but seriously I haven't got any greenery in the garden at the mo because the part where they go is half flagged half grass and there isn't much of that, so I think the vet is right that it is infected I hope the ab's start working soon because it looks so sore :(

How's Callie this morning Lesley any improvement ?

Julie
