Oh! At long last! The standy-uppy pic I've been waiting for! And a gaiting one as well!

He's ABSOLUTELY DIVINE.

Are you quite certain that you need him Tracy? Are you sure you don't want to send him over to me?

Thank you so much for your lovely pm Lana and your comments on here, I'm so sorry you had to wait so long, I'd completely forgotten how you asked for some when he was a very young lad :b

He's coming on like a dream, and I have to admit I LOVE HIM (w00t) He is the most wonderful puppy to live with, great fun, a total show off and soooo shiny. He also seems to be lovely and balanced and moves so well.   I'll try and get some front shots for you as well, think you might like them ;)

You asked for his details.....

He is Mallyfield Wild Knight with Alacrity (Scarletfair One Knight x Lucky Girl of Mallyfield)

You can see more of him, and his pedigree, on my website, although I have so much to catch up on picture wise as I've been a little busy :b

More pics of The Badge Man in the ring here lol!

If you check out www.beaterslodge.com and go to Gallery, and then Cullompton 04.11.07 and then picture 24 you can see another shot of him. I've purchased it, but Lee hasn't sent it to me yet, so I need to direct you to the website, sorry!

He's only been out once as a baby puppy (3 - 6 months) at a match night a few weeks ago and took the class, so I was over the moon with that

I'm a little concerned about the white on the very bottom of his chest possibly making him look like he has slightly less depth that is really there. Just if you are to look over him quickly? What do you think? These black and white markings are gorgeous, but they are quite scary too how they can create illusions

Enjoy and thanks so much for liking him :huggles:

p.s. Love the pic of Dad that you posted Helen

 What a striking young man Tracy ,so like his daddy :huggles:

He is gorgeous, its uncanny how like his daddy he is, I watched them both recently , when they come to a halt, they stop in exactly the same way. :huggles:

That's a problem you will most likely face with unaccustomed all-rounder judges. But the specialists (Hound and whippet) should be aware of these things.

I would say don't ever wear a white skirt, pants or even suit when you show him. Because that little strip of white on his chest will disappear into it and he will look shallow in chest. Wear a solid bright colour (particularly on your bottom half if you stand up when you stack him on the ground) that will enhance the black but also show up that bit of white on his chest, and make it stand out. Red, green, pink, orange, sky blue, lavender........ I would suggest a whole suit of the one colour because usually their first individual impression of him standing will be on the table, when he's in front of your torso. And for that reason I would make sure that when the judge is standing back looking at him on the table that you stand behind Badger, not out in front of him on the table. If you stand out in front of him you risk him blending into a garbled background, of chairs, tents, people, a blackened stage in some halls ... etc. If you place your solid coloured suit behind him you're giving him a better backdrop.
