Hello everyone, I was lurking as usual to find out as much as I can about whippets, and thought you may like to see my two! I have a 12 month old dog, Hugo, who I have had from a puppy, and Carys, two and a half, who my lovely breeder has entrusted to me to be a companion for him. I hope that the pic comes out, they are related and I was hoping that they would get on well. They love each other and sleep curled up together and I just couldn't tell you how much these lovely dogs have enhanced my life!

I wish I could upload the photos, but apparently they are too large, shame, I will keep trying... love collies, they are so intelligent,I have had dobermans before, but these are my first whippets and I have to say that they are the sweetest dogs ever!Welcome to K9. :thumbsup:

Photobucket is a great way to upload photos ...lots of us use it here.

Oh thank you so much, they are very special to me, and when I go to shows with them to get them to mix with other whippets I see other lovely whippets, they are unique in temperament I think, wonderful dogs and such a pleasure to have in the house.

Thank you, I will try and get one of them when they are awake, they move pretty fast though haha! They are very happy today, turkey for breakfast!

Just copy and paste the IMG code beside the picture on Photobucket - that way the picture will appear rather than the link :thumbsup:

Hi there, i am also a new whippet owner and like you wanted to post pictures of joey. i did it by copying the picture to paint (in accessories) then click on image, resize/skew, then change to about 10, 15% and resave the picture. then when you upload it its a lot smaller! hope this helps and makes sense!

Hi Kathy, Joey is beautiful, I can't believe that Hugo was that size not so long ago! Joey is a lovely colour, Hugo has white legs too, Carys is kind of half and half fawn and white down, not across, haha!
It's so good to be able to go on about them here, not only have I got the gentlest dogs ever, but have met some wonderful people too, Whippet owners are the best...
