woke up this morning took one look at Blue and knew something was wrong...he was baking hot so whizzed him up vets and he has a temp of 104.As this is the 3rd time in a matter of months he has had a high temp the vet wants to get to the bottom of this so he is having all the tests done..if she finds nothing Blue will go to the university where they will investigate further...I had to put him into the kennel at the vets cos he wouldnt go with the nurse..lump in the throat time

I have changed vets since I wasnt happy with certain things when Blue was last poorly and I can honestly say I was really impressed with the vet today...she talked me through the possibilities of what could be causing the high temperature...someone them I didnt want to hear but she was just putting me in the picture..she will ring me in 4 hours after the blood test she is doing on him now...

feel so guilty..he obviously wasnt feeling well yesterday at the beach..i thought he had the hump cos of Harley all last night all 4 whippets were whacked out and hardly moved from the settee..Blue ate his tea and slept in with me all night it was only when i woke this morning i noticed he was poorly..i cant believe this is happening again...keeps coming back so quickly...thanks guys for comments..appreciate it :huggles:

just spoke to the vet,no change in blue,temp still the same,he is on a drip to get it down. The initial blood test came back normal but the last time there was an abnormality with the liver so she is going to test that and also for parasites in the blood....will get the results of tests next week.Blue is staying overnight and I have to ring in morning to see how things are( hopefully bring him home)..thanks for all your kind replies :huggles: it really means everything to me..i will ring up later to see how he is and will let you all know :thumbsup:
