as some of you will remember from back at christmas time, my mabel and sas really got to hate eachother ( Top Bitch issues) and ended up scrapping resulting in a very large nasty throat wound with mabel and danny being lost in woods over night :(

well ive been working on them oth and doing stuff together as i really do not want to part with either or force one to be kenneled whilst the other is out , well today we went for our first off lead and truck trip , at last my hard work has paid off and my girls are now running loose together again relaxed in each others company :)

thank you girls , you have made me very happy and proud today :huggles:

Well done Tanya...its amazing what can be done with a little patience and understanding... :huggles:

This is so good that they are beginning to get used to one another and become pals. When i got Alice for Scratch to have a playmate several years ago the owner of the kennels where I got her from said ooo,,,, they will not get on with them both being bitches.... i had to introduce them slowly and they are the best of pals, one pines for the other if one is away

faith scratch and alice xx

Oh, that's really good news - it must have taken a lot of patience on your part though.

Well done, don't forget what they were like, they could revert without warning. I have had that happen. :ermm:

after seeing what damage can e done i will never forget and they will never be kennelled together , however over the last 2 mths they have slowly gotten to tolerate each other again , and whilst on fone to tina bow one day i was almost hysterically shreaking that they were finally laid asleep together like 2 old buddies , it has taken A LOT of time and patience, and a whole lot of understanding but every min has been worth it , to see them 2 today mooching together then sitting side by side in the truck on way home was like winning the lottery :)

what i done was reassured each of them that i was top bitch and gave lots of fuss in front of each other going from sas to mabel , then mabel to sas, fussing all the others then taking just those 2 out with me and keeping them behind me and then at either side , at no point could they make contact , but slowly as time has gone on , ive got there :sweating:

very proud , my girls are very special , as are all my dogs but this was a very upsetting situation , where i was advised more than once to get rid of one , couldnt do it though so worked harder

well done so pleased for you that they are getting along :huggles: :huggles:

Well done Hun :huggles:

Just never trust them 100% as the slightest thing could trigger an attack as I know you are aware
