I was hoping that the rate of growth signified some sort of infection and I suppose it is possible not to have a raised temperature, depending on the type and site of infection? :unsure:
I had a horse come up with a huge solid swelling on the point of his shoulder, turned out it was caused by a splinter which had probably been under the skin for years (w00t) The swelling burst :x and all returned to normal :thumbsup:
