I was hoping that the rate of growth signified some sort of infection and I suppose it is possible not to have a raised temperature, depending on the type and site of infection? :unsure:

I had a horse come up with a huge solid swelling on the point of his shoulder, turned out it was caused by a splinter which had probably been under the skin for years (w00t) The swelling burst :x and all returned to normal :thumbsup:

Have a ball over the next few days with Bryn

just a little update, the lump is now very very hard and beginning to stick out visibly behind Bryn.

Even though he is having pain relief it is really beginning to bother him so i spoke to the vet again this morning and Bryn is booked in for surgery on thursday morning so we will know more then, i have asked the vet to try to remove the lump if that's what it is rather than just send samples away as i don't want him knocked out for samples and then again a few days later for surgery, due to his heart murmur.

please keep fingers crossed for my cute little furface.

thanks everyone.

he's very sad tonight as i've had to put a buster collar on him.....while i was at work he has been chewing at his bum and the skin over the lump has started to break down , so to save him from himself he has a flower pot on his head :lol:

the sooner he is seen tomorrow the better...although i shall worry all day,at least he will be properly examined etc.

thanks again for all the support i really appreciate it. Had a very hard year this year with all the troubles with Parker, both my grandad and aunty died earlier in the year and today my uncle sadly died after a short fight against very aggressive cancer. he was such a brave man.

you guys will be the first to know what happens with little Brynnie boy tomorrow. X
