someone made an anouncement today at oldhall to say the champs would be held at worcester

not sure but i think there is camping facilities there ,did they not used to have a camping weekend????????

no theres no camping. we went camping once but they can only hold about 30 caravans but i got told no camping. no good if u have got a dog & a bitch or a veteran and a bitch or a scratch & a dog.

with no camping available it cud have been held @ any track in the country.

I agree its daft if there's no camping. Could have it anywere if thats the case might as well have it at old hall with no camping least its central. We the same Decca. Thats if I have a dog and Bitch to run.

why is there no camping? plus we wont be going to far to travel for the day i think we'll get a group of us going away some where else for the weekend :rant: i feel soooooo sorry for the scottish i think they wont be going to much money :rant: :rant: also some of the southerns that have to travel a long way :rant:

Okay i just phoned around and i think we have it sorted

ONLY RING DURING OFFICE HOURS as the lady's knacked tonight

The site can take 100 caravans at the moment but will get booked up soon ...payment must be made in full on booking £18.50 night

they are willing to try and get the whippet people together ...all

dogs MUST BE CLEANED UP AFTER

When you phone up to book please let the lady aware you are part of the racing party

For those who are wondering about Caravan/camping facilities - there are Caravan sites around Worcester. Members who are in the Caravan Club/Caravan & Camping club should have no difficulty in finding a site close to Worcester Track.

Search on the web under "Caravan sites" and I'm sure you should be able to find "dog friendly" sites for that weekend.

I do know there is a caravan site only approx. 5 miles from the WorcesterTrack called Millhouse Caravan Site on the A449. Maybe Amanda/Pauline can help members out regarding Caravan Sites in and around Worcester. :thumbsup:

Shame not to attend a Championship just because there is no Camping on the track when there are Caravan Sites near by.
