Am out of this one :sweating: Can see its going to kick off here ,big time ;)
really? well not from me anyway! I certainly didnt post this to incite a row..i posted it cos when i heard the outcome i was horrified and wanted to share it with people on here....i have made my feelings crystal clear on how i feel so if anyone wants to turn this sad affair into a digging match then shame on them to be honest

Ok then, so we want these two thugs to feel pain like the fawn did? Do we beat them up? Maybe we tie them up and torture them, drill holes in their teeth, electrocute them? Who carries out this sentence? I couldn't and I'd be seriously worried about anyone that could beat someone for any reason.
The only option for a civilised society is a custodial sentence, maybe bring back hard labour? An eye for an eye may sound fair but when it comes down to carrying this out what does that make us. Imagine if we had people whose job it was to carry out these sentences, to beat people up, to inflict pain - would these people be any better than the SS who worked in Auschwitz?

To compare anybody that thinks that these yobs should feel a bit of what they gave this poor creature, to the ss

is a bit insulting, if you look at most of the serial killers, child murderers, and rapist they have all tortured animals in their early years,

so what does that tell us about a civilised society, our custodial sentences mean three square meals, sky television and early parole,

do you think that anyone who does these evil vile things should live in our society because i don't,

they are not civilised people they are scum, my personnal opinion is they should taken out of civilisation,

but that doesn't make me a murderer,

i wouldn't be able to take a back step if i saw anyone ill-treating or torturing any animal, its a human instinct

and any one that inflicts these horendous crimes have that lacking so what else would they lack

I could quite happily torture anyone who kicked and stamped on a baby fawns head

They should have the electric chair with enough volts to cause excruciating pain, but not enough to kill - and if there was the odd accident, well wouldn't that be a shame - not :- (w00t) :teehee:

A custodial sentence these days is a pleasure for most - gets them off the streets, a nice warm bed to sleep in, tv etc, and three square meals a day.

There is no justice in this world, that's all I'm going to say on the matter, di

can you imagine being the parent of these youths, what an horrendous thought that your child had done such an horrific thing, sickening

They probably don't care - which is where the problem starts. I'm not making excuses for what the kids did, it was sickening and vile, but there's nearly always a dysfunctional family and/or abuse in the kids' background in these cases. Kids aren't born kind or empathetic, they have to learn it from somewhere - a bit like puppies being socialised at the right age and stage.

I don't know what the answer is. Locking them up keeps them off the streets for a bit, but does absolutely nothing to change them. It's very depressing :(

totally agree with you...i think the fine should go to the parents to be paid immediately..not £20 per week...maybe if they had to part with that kind of money they might take more interest in what their kids are up too...
