Had a good, if very drawn out day :( ........... Archer ran well in his heat, being beaten by a lovely dog from Cornwall, owned by Les Parrish, called Duke. Didnt get to see any finals as the day was dragging on too long ...........dont think I am a fan of the seperate days for showing and racing, but I guess its horses for courses. Good to meet some old faces from K9 ....and make some new friends too. :D

Well done guys........ hope the weather held out for you all.... I agree though .. showing and racing on different days... ?? Why? What are the benefits?

Well done John and china you well deserved it :))

And nice to finally meet you :))

Firstly..thanks loads for this lovely post. It wasnt easy for her i can tell you. She met the top dogs of the moment and last year. Tash for example was the Lurcherworld League Champion. China had her in first heat and won by a length at best. Ive cracker videos of the end stages of the races, the final was a rare race ....The final was rerun as a couple of dogs bumped. When it got under way China hit the front early but as she hit the camber of the hill it threw her to the left....she was still infront but was running wayyy to far left and almost looked like she was gonna hit the lure drivers van ! What made it worse was Jeff Smith who was commentating was saying the dog in with the orange collar was winning with red behind...China was in white so i thought it was over...i forgot she had her Orang Vet Wrap on !! yayyyyyyyyyy he then called White !

Laundry bill thru the bloody roof.

Im in work now and had no time to do a write up..but when i do ill post all the videos....watch out for Sarahs lil Coco winning the whippet race and Sues (pepa) whippet Phoebe making semis in the main Coursing event, fantastic result for "Team Linger" or as there badge says "LINGERS LURCHERS" !

Special mention for Slip who just amazed us in the main arena....youll see why when i post Vids !
