not quite  but when i phoned up the emergency vet up and told him what had happened and without saying who i was, he said " i thought i recognised the voice, i'll see you at the surgery in 5 minutes Miss Abbott " (w00t)

Glad they are all fine now. I had the same thing with Milo this year, big bar of chocolate and a trip to the vets and lots of being sick :x :x Luckily I realised in time. If there is food about, however well hidden he will find it

Good luck :luck:

Glad all has turned out well. :huggles: for the boys...

 How terrifying. Glad to hear they are recovering well :huggles: :luck:

And that is what having a rapport with your Vet SHOULD be like! I very seldom ring out of hours but they know that if I do I'm not messing about and they will pull out all the stops. In fact, even when I ring during the day and say "I need to see Kate today" they will juggle appointments to ensure that I do.

Glad to hear the boys are home and well!

Glad all is well with your boys, must of been awful time for you :(

So very pleased to hear they are on the mend now  :huggles:

So glad to hear your dogs are okay - that must have been a nasty scare. One of ours once pinched a bar of chocolate but luckily it was just a small amount between two whippets and they were both fine.

We also have a great rapport with our vet - but we also reckon we've paid for their new cars, new building, clothes, shoes, food etc.... over the years with our total of 10 dogs, rabbits, cats and a pony!!!!

the last phone call from the vet sounded encouraging...
BOTH boys were being pesky, :D ripping out drips, demanding dinner, eyeing up cats etc

i nipped in to the surgery to hand over my wages at reception and could hear the pair of them having a singalong in the back  (w00t)   :- "

so all looks well for recovery

So glad to hear that the boys are home and safe :D

Pleased to see that you managed to keep your sense of humour through it all (w00t)

I can imagine the girls looking down their noses at the boys with a *tsk tsk* when they came home. Trouble is, they never learn their blooming lessons do they (w00t)

nope  when they got home i caught them having a good sniff and root at the empty sweet bag that had been for the 'trick or treaters'

from now on anyone wanting chocolate is banished to the front door step with the smokers
