RIP Cola, sleep well little one.

What a beautiful piece of writing to quote. I am not ashamed to say I am in tears, it just strikes a chord with me.

RIP Cola :(

A beautiful piece of writing

I am so sorry to hear about Cola. We had a mini Long for many years and we had to have her put to sleep because of heart problems last August. I don't know whether it is just me but I always get very upset when a Dachsie dies as indeed I do with other larger dogs but I think because of there diminutive size you tend to feel extra sorrow as they are so tiny and helpless.

Sounds like you have many happy memories though and no one can take those away. You did the right thing for Cola though.

Paul :(

What a little beauty Cola looks in those pictures. He looks like Tammy a miniature Daschund that we had when I was growing up. We had three altogether. They are such characters. I am sure all the lovely memories you have of him will remain in your hearts forever :huggles:
