Runswick bay is at the bottom of some massive cliffs so no danger of them running onto the road There is quite a bit of litter at this time of year though, they don't seem to clean it when its cold Think it gets washed in from the tide, not dumped by people
It is a big beach, not sure if you can take dogs in the summer months, there were no signs so I would expect you can. I'm off to do a search in a bit to see which beaches allow dogs all year round. Cayton bay does, I know that because thats where my parents live - thats a lovely beach too.
Quite deserted at this time of year which suits Lenny because he's weird around other dogs he sniffed a whippet which we bumped into though
Love Molly's new hat! We went to Runswick Bay once with Josh. Lots of great beaches on that side of the country. :thumbsup:jezza said:
This is Runswick Bay, I think! :- " Stayed in the area during Foot and Mouth so couldn't walk on the moors but visited all the beaches instead so may have got a bit confused! Lucy (Jezza) can confirm or not! :btrish and graham said:great pics, mine would have loved a run with them, whats runswick bay like,is it a big beach like bridlingtons south beach.
