Hmm well even though I grew up in Scarboro I cant remember what Brid beach is like

Runswick bay is at the bottom of some massive cliffs so no danger of them running onto the road :D There is quite a bit of litter at this time of year though, they don't seem to clean it when its cold :( Think it gets washed in from the tide, not dumped by people ;)

It is a big beach, not sure if you can take dogs in the summer months, there were no signs so I would expect you can. I'm off to do a search in a bit to see which beaches allow dogs all year round. Cayton bay does, I know that because thats where my parents live - thats a lovely beach too.

Quite deserted at this time of year which suits Lenny because he's weird around other dogs :( he sniffed a whippet which we bumped into though

This is Runswick Bay, I think! :- " Stayed in the area during Foot and Mouth so couldn't walk on the moors but visited all the beaches instead so may have got a bit confused! Lucy (Jezza) can confirm or not! :b

Yes that is Runswick bay. I've got a picture of that view, I'll post it when I get the rest of the pictures -_-
