Rain is a no no (w00t)

Oh horrible rain - not very nice is it? Good job the girls have their new coats.

Do you know Jane, I miss my horses terribly but not when I think of being out in the rain, changing wet horse rugs. I bet that's what you were doing whilst the dogs were waiting to go back indoors.

Pauline & Ruby

Lovely pictures...........Ella looks like a little orphan

Sada doesn't mind the rain at all, shes up for going out in any weather.

Kaya can be a bit dainty at times but once she's out she enjoys it :)

The whippets don't like it but the 2 greyhounds absolutely detest it  .They have to be made togo outfor a wee and if you put William in the garden then suggest going for a walk he looks up as if to say

How did you guess, Pauline :- " :- "

Wouldn't be so bad if my new stables had been finished at the end of September (which was "The Plan") but they still look like this  ..........

Ah Jane, I just recognised the scene...it takes one to know one [horsy person that is]

Your stable barn looks as if it will be fantastic. Lucky girl. Barns are the best for the bad weather aren't they? You'll be undercover for the mucking out.

Thats the one thing that I don't miss about not having a horse any more mucking out in the rain and changing soaking wet rugs yuk :x

To be honest mine prefer to go out coatless when its raining because they just love to tear around in it... (w00t) and get muddy...

Jane your stables look absolutely brilliant, please show us them finished wont you...

Great pictures...

My 2 girlies must be wierd as they aren't bothered in the slightest!!

They both love to run around in the wet grass and roll around like idiots.

My whippet's okay with it, he's not particularly happy and prefers to have his coat on but he'll go out if he has to. My little lurcher however ( a whippet cross we suspect, perhaps a bit of saluki too, he's the blonde one in my signature)will not go out if it's raining. He'd rather wee on the floor. I've even taken him into our carport as a kind of compromise. If I try to walk him in the rain he just freezes and refuses to move. He was a stray however so maybe he connects rain with being cold and damp and uncomfortable, who knows! He certainly doesn't like it though whereas Presley the whippet really isn't too bothered. :D

Forgot to say that this is a bit of an issue for us as we live in the north west of England where it does precious little else but rain  Some things are sent to try us methinks. :D

Sidney asks to go out, I open the door, he takes one look and runs the opposite way

We have strong winds as well as rain today so he is going to love me in a bit when I take him for a walk
