How many people kiss their whippets, and I mean actually put your lips to their silky little head or face?

I am just interested to know because I remember once someone being horrified that I did this. I have done it all my life since I was a child and I have never become ill from a dog. I find I don't kiss the Husky - that hair puts me off - it gets in my eyes and up my nose. But I never hesitate to plant a smooch on a whippet's delightful little head.

come on now, tell me ......

Whippets are very kissable and cuddly, think its the eyes that do it.

I can't stop (w00t) I kiss them on the the top of the head, between the eyes, the side of the muzzle, the top of the nose, the end of the nose, behind the ears, the pads on their feet..............

Whippets are sooo kissable

To me there's nothing better than kssing their warm little faces,& of course being kissed back :)

My dear Flyn is the one who seriously adores being kissed,he nuzzles up sooooo close to me & loves every second & asks for more  He's a bit of a good kisser himself!!! :*

Saraquelle,if i remember rightly, you've had the pleasure of some Flynnie snogs :D

Allways after al;l they kiss us and dont worry about germs so why should we. It is a whippet thing though carnt say I have ever kissed the greyhounds or lurcher and I love them to bits aswell think its the fact that whippets give you no choice in the matter as they get in your face to make sure they get all the kisses and cubbles

All of ours, including the spaniel-who-thinks-she's-a-whippet and our new baby,Lily, get kissed first thing in the morning and at regular interval during the day. Polly in particular comes and dots us if she wants a kiss and a cuddle.

I agree, whippets are definitely very kissable, and good kissers back too

Fred reaches up on his hind legs for a kiss as soon as I get home from work. As soon as he's had a kiss he runs off and grabs a toy. It's a daily routine now. The OH complains because I kiss the dogs first and then greet him with a peck :*

My two get kissed all the time, they are so loving and affectioate.

Inca comes right up and snuggles and then gives me a little kiss on the nose and then waits for her kiss before snuggling again.

Dippy just looks deep into your eyes and waits for her kiss, unless she's feeling playfull and then she smothers you in them and you have to play catch to kiss her back.

ok mine do get kissed and they love it,millie paws the air for more, phoebe gets on your knee for a little attention and kiplin shoves his face into mine so i get the message  :- "

and something else they like is for me to nibble there necks :b  sends them to sleep almost

yes my husband is jealous (w00t)

Of course.... ;) couldnt think of anything better to kiss than a whippet. although I also kiss the donkeys and ponies at work - and have been known to kiss a pot bellied pig - I dont care what people think. :- "

Yep! Definitely lots of kisses and raspberries blown in their ears (or on puppies fat little bellies!!!)

Of course, do you mean some people don't kiss their Whippets? How awful of them (w00t) . Poppy always gets carried away when I'mm kissing her head and has to be reminded "no tongues"  :* :* :*

I kiss the whippies and the lurchers  But not so much Tie as she's too hairy. I especially like kissing the side of their lips. Holly really loves her kisses, but she can get a bit carried away with her tongue too :b Lucas loves kisses when I have been eating cheese & onion crisps :D

I cant see anything wrong at all with kissing them - I kiss friends whippets too

Yes - kissing whippets is very therapeutic. :huggles: :huggles: They are soooo soft.

Whenever I walk past a horse/pony with its head over a gate/fence I can't resist kissing their lovely soft muzzles - the smell is gorgeous.
