My friend Helen brought her two children over to see me today, Sarah is only 5 weeks so not very interesting but Ella Clair is 21 months old so is full of fun - Bluebell has never met children at this close quarters before - they were very well supervised - but I think you can fairly honestly say she likes children!

Ella decided that blubell needed to go to bed, so she wrapped her up in a fleece and Bluebell oblidged and went to sleep

Then bluebell was told to sit...so she did! Then she discovered some bare flesh that needed to be washed (w00t) :huggles: :huggles:

aww what gorgeous pics, both looked like they had fun and you can see they like each other

gorgeous pics - that last one of the full-length whippet hug is fantastic

How lovely to see Bluebell with the little girl. :huggles:

I have a problem when my grandson who is 2.1/2 comes to the house as Ruby is so excitable she just knocks him over. She wouldn't hurt him and doesn't nip but getting knocked off his feet so often is quite off-putting for him.

I am at a loss what to do about htis except keep them spearate, or Ruby tightly on her lead, which seems such a shame.

Any suggestions anyone?

:D Whilst I had her on the lead, Callum was feeding her daisies, which she took from him very gently and obligingly ate.

I kept Bluebell on the lead for the first meeting and for a while until everyone had sat down and settled, then I just slipped the lead off with out her really noticing that I had, she then just pottered off - The toddler has a greyhound and a colliex at home so is used to and calm around dogs - but was so pleased to find one who actually liked her :huggles:
