A stray cat has been hanging about the shop for a while now.

I started feeding it pies/sausage rolls from the hot cabinet poor

thing. But then he got a name......Martin......and before long he

had his own bowl and we were buying him cat food :- "

But today a regular said she would like to take him on and

decided to try, he went of home with her happily and as i

was leaving she brought a picture of him laying asleep on

bed sound asleep...........lets hope this last, he's a lovely

cat

These pictures are from my phone and not very good, he's

a beautiful grey tabby.

Aww thats a nice story!

Glad he found a home.

I like cats. My cat Mabel lives with my dad. :( Maybe I should get a kitten at the same time as the pup, they could be friends!

Martin has quite unusual colouring!

Your joking Janis, my sister and daughter take Sada and K for

a walk in the morning and bring the girls past the shop to say

hello. They go mad trying to catch Martin and he always runs

into the shop away from them.......

i could probably get them to accept a kitten but not a full size

cat and certainly not Martin i bet he's full of fleas

Well this topic rings a few bells here :D

We've been "adopted" by a ginger tom (probably about a year or so old) - he's been hanging around for a while so I frontlined him, wormed him and started to feed him and now he lives outside the front of the house where he happily co-habits with my 3 neutered boys when they are waiting to come indoors  He's got a name too - Gus Honeybuns

Once I've sorted out a new job I shall take him to the vet and have him neutered too! Looks like he's gonna be staying here - much to Jinny's disgust (w00t)

Martin looks a lovely boy - unusual colouring

Aw, good luck to Martin in his new home :luck: and all the best to Gus Honeybuns too (w00t)

aww good luck to the boy,hes such a cute one  :huggles:

It was really quiet today without Martin yowling for

food and attention :*

Awwww he's lovely  He looks a bit bedraggled and old in that third pic but I'm sure, given a few weeks of TLC and good food inside him, he'll turn up to be a gorgeous boy

Neil and I both love cats and would like one/two of our own. Not sure if Tina is used to them though so we'd probably go for an older cat who's used to dogs or two kittens. I'm sure Tina would soon learn who's boss after a few bops on her nose
