It was a great day! :D Everyone works so hard to make this show a success, Cathie by press-ganging us into helping  , Alayna for being on the go all day, even in her condition :- " , Roger for charming money out of us for raffle tickets ;) and all the others on Team EAWC!

Monty didn't get a place in puppy - or in novice (w00t) but he loved eyeing up the chicks, seeing all his mates and his scrummy sister Hollie :huggles: and he really enjoyed the gallop in the pouring rain around the field

Old Dog Devon didn't get a place in veteran :b but he did get a tasty sausage (w00t) and I was so proud of him, considering he hasn't been in a show ring for 7 or 8 years I think he showed his wrinkly old socks off

Well done to the loads of K9'ers who got placed today  and extra special ones for TC for FINALLY managing to qualify Ruso  and Lisa for looking like an old pro when she showed Hollie for the first time today (w00t) :- " :p

We had a lovely day - thank you to the wonderful committee for all their hard work in running this great show - nobody could have made us more welcome or felt more valued as competitors than this hardworking bunch :flowers: :flowers: :flowers:

 Congratulations to Jax who had a very successful day, and to Tina and Link, Tracy and Ruso and everyone else who did well. All the place winners went home with wonderful prizes and bags of goodies, but also every competitor also received a bag full of chocolate, water and crisps, wipes and dog food samples - so everyone goes home happy. :)

Well done Cathie, Alayna and all your team  and to all who did well today

Just got home, and I want to thank folks from K9 who came and helped today. It made a big difference.  Liz & Beth thanks for putting out the buffet :) , Alison Thanks for cooking the veterans sausages (I've got the boxes for you). Pat, mega thanks for stewarding all day. I'm so tired  -_- that I can't think of all the other names ( let me know if I've forgotten someone) but you were much appreciated. We are always grateful for help as it is such a small committee (7 present today) plus the wonderful Slim & Lucy Reardon who do so much for our club. ....and although this is supposed to be a thanks to non committee, here's a bit of a plug for our amazing secretary Alayna as she did the bulk of the running around, shopping, planning and phoning as well as all the secretary's work. This, in a delicate condition  (w00t) , in a house being completely replastered  with a small (but gorgeous) baby  , a vizla    and a puppy. the goodie bags and prizes are mostly her work. She puts alot of thought and commitment into her role & deserves a huge public pat on the back, she has worked her socks off.

Lastly thanks to all our K9 exhibitors who gave us entries, brought raffle prizes, bought tickets for them, smiled and enjoyed the occaision. Thanks for coming and hope you all had a good day out.

(w00t) Thanks for that Debbie, we did have a lovely day, the boys really enjoyed it, sepecially the buffet :- "

I am soooo pleased with the lads for showing their socks off and getting placed, and I really enjoyed showing Sage.....she was a peach :*

Really enjoyed the show, fantastic atmosphere and you can just see the hard work that goes in to running it so smoothly. Mind you, I probably saw more than most as I was there at 7.15 :b We loved our goody bag, and the coat that was donated by Peggy of Jaycoats for the 1st that Ruso won in MPD is perfect for Badger so I couldn't have been more pleased :huggles:

When is the next one (w00t)

Oh, and do you publish the results on your website as this was the first show I've ever been to where I was too caught up in the day to write down a single result :b

Thanks

TCx

p.s. Ruso says a special slushy Well Done to Spider on her 1st place, he thought she looked the bee's knee's

well done tracey thats fantastic news  (w00t) ,give ruso a kiss from me and finny :* :* :huggles:
