Yesterday ( and until about 6 pm this evening) her ears looked liked this :) :

Suddenly this happened and they seem to have stuck  :

I know her sister sports this look, but her's turned a lot younger so I thought that we were safe with Esme.

I must add that OH is over the moon as he loves Tess so much he thinks everyone should look like her  . Its not that I don't love Tess (she's my best baby  ) but there's nothing wrong with a bit of variety is there :- "

That's a sudden change isn't it!

They might go back to normal Olivia....is she still teething?

she is still georgous no matter what position her ears are in!lol

two very beautiful whippets youve got there!

That's because you saw a photo of another Whippet with sticky up ears and wished them on poor Esme. Let's hope they revert to proper ears.

am i missing something here? My boy is 4 and they have always been like that!!

It's alright! - She's pretending to be a Pharoah hound!! (w00t) Tiny does it all the time and he's supposed to be a greyhound (although he does have remarkable whippety ears at times!) :- "

Teething I 'd say too....... both Oscar and Kobis were like that for a while   Lovley photos - Esme

nooooooo its only a matter of time before Beans ears do that (well she was the youngest)

I want to keep the puppy ears :'( :'(

What do you mean by that!! Whippet ears are not meant to stick up, totally incorrect!!!!

An ear update

They don't seem to be able to make up their mind today......

We vary from fox terrier:

I think you're probably right and that it is due to the teething, which she is doing.

I should also add that whatever her ears do she is still the most beautiful whippet puppy in thw world and I love her very dearly :huggles:      (Well I might be a bit biased :- " )

i thought i was looking at my two whippets.

i think we have a matching pair. :)

William had comedy ears on and off about a month ago, but (dare I say it) they seem to have calmed down now.

For a while every time I looked at him, especially if I caught him unawares, he seemed to have one ear stuck up smack in the middle of his head, while the other one dangled limply down the side :clown:

How I wish I'd taken photos :p

Thank you for your comment, I see I wasn't clear in my meaning.

I meant as in the first picture - but he also sticks his ears up Pharoah hound style quite a lot.

:huggles:
