I was looking at this website as I have to attend a meeting here today ............

http://www.kitleyhousehotel.com/dog_friendly.html

Looks like a fantastic place for a short break (although a tad on the expensive side (w00t) ) and so I thought I'd post the link in case anyone ever fancies a weekend away with their whippet(s)

Only one way to find out :- "

It is nice to see someone who positively welcomes dogs i.e. there isn't just one sentence at the bottom of the page somewhere that says 1 or 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

Well, I'm back from my meeting and it really is a gorgeous place for dogs and their owners

The grounds around it are amazing - acres and acres of safe grass fields, all well fenced and no stock worries as the only sheep and horses I saw were in enclosures along the mile long driveway down to the hotel - thought I'd never get there

I did mention that next time I had to come down for a meeting I would bring my 5 whips and 2 GSDs (w00t) ....... and they said "you're welcome!!!" (I did notice the £ signs in their eyes as they added up the possibility of getting extra £5 a night for each dog though if I had to stay there :- " )

Met a lovely white boxer there, sitting in the bar with his owners  All the staff were making a big fuss of him and he was loving his holiday

that looks a gorgeous place to visit, esspecially cause you could take the doggies :huggles:

do you think i could find kennels for the kids instead (w00t) :- "

I think this is the perfect venue for Stormydogs K9 meet up... :- "

Seriously Im putting this on my wishlist...it looks fabulous...
